About Bedell Advocacy Services

I’m Laurie Bedell RN, a nurse with 20 years of healthcare experience. I work with patients and families navigating complex medical situations — helping them understand what’s happening, prepare for conversations with care teams, and move forward with a clear, structured plan. My nursing background enables me to see/understand/think of things that caregivers/patients may not, thus giving you the knowledge to better care for yourself or your loved one.

When someone you love is in the healthcare system, everything can feel overwhelming — fast-moving decisions, unclear communication, and too many unknowns at once.

Bedell Advocacy Services was created to provide clarity and support during those moments

My role is to help you stay informed, understand the medical terminology/process, stay organized and grounded — so you’re not trying to figure everything out on your own.

How I Work

I work in a structured 6-week model focused on coordination, communication, and follow-through — with options for continued support based on your needs. All communication is via phone call or email, no office visits required, just virtual convenience.
